Selected engagements

Case studies: how the ‘unlock’ gets found

Real engagements across different industries. In each one, the block was never quite where it first appeared to be.

01

Closing sales deals at higher velocity

Enterprise sales · SaaS

The challenge

A senior account executive was carrying a seven-figure, multi-year deal that kept slipping in and out of forecast, with no obvious blocker.

The unlock

The real constraint was never the named economic buyer. It was an operations leader burned by a previous failed rollout and unwilling to own a second one. Once a phased rollout with clear checkpoints was on the table, that objection stopped applying. The deal closed.

02

Looking beyond AI resistance to work redesign

Design & engineering · late-stage tech

The challenge

A Head of Design at a late-stage technology company had design, engineering and product aligned on the same roadmap on paper — but the prototype-to-production gap kept widening.

The unlock

What looked like resistance to AI tools was structural. Design still reported into engineering as if the work were sequential, when AI-accelerated tooling had already made the two functions peers. Once she and her VP saw the same collapse, moving design to run parallel to engineering became the obvious next step.

03

Operationalising innovation

Architecture · regional practice

The challenge

A regional architecture firm had an innovation function generating ideas nobody on a job site had time to act on.

The unlock

Instead of adding a layer above the team, the Head of Innovation embedded a role inside it. Innovation stopped being proposed to the team and became something the team did. Projects started landing on schedule, which opened the door to more work from existing clients.
